Terms and Conditions (International)

These terms and conditions (“Terms”) set out the rules for using the online service YapaPhoto (the “Service”) and purchasing products made available through the Service.

The Service is operated under the trade name Conformatic. Access to browse the Service may be free of charge; fees apply when you purchase a product.

• User: any person who visits or uses the Service.
• Order: a purchase request submitted through the Service.
• Photo: any image uploaded by you.
• Product: the output delivered to you (digital file and/or printed product if offered).
• Payment Processor: a third party handling payments.

The Service is intended for individuals aged 16+ who can enter into a binding contract. You must comply with applicable laws when using the Service.

The Service may require cookies and local storage for core functionality. You are responsible for ensuring that your device and browser are compatible with the Service.

You agree not to:

• violate any law, third-party rights, or these Terms;
• upload photos you do not have the right to use (image rights, copyright, etc.);
• upload unlawful, misleading, defamatory, or privacy-infringing content;
• attempt to disrupt the Service (malware, abuse, bypassing security measures);
• collect other users’ data without consent; or
• use the Service for spam, fraud, or other abusive purposes.

If we offer a contact-import feature, it is limited to your own invite flows. Imported contacts must not be used for outreach or marketing without an applicable legal basis.

Imported contacts used for your invite flows remain separate from YapaPhoto marketing contacts, which rely only on direct opt-in to receive YapaPhoto communications.

You are responsible for reviewing your own photo and ensuring it meets the requirements for your intended document and jurisdiction.

YapaPhoto allows you to upload 2–3 Photos (often selfies) so we can verify, among other things, that each Photo contains exactly one face and that the Photos match the same person. The Service may then produce and verify an ID-compliant portrait (including formatting and framing constraints).

The Product is delivered as a digital file (for example, a printable board) available for download after payment and, if offered at checkout, as a printed/delivered product.

Checks may rely on third-party infrastructure. Administrative standards vary by country and may change over time; unless explicitly stated otherwise, the Service does not guarantee acceptance by any specific authority.

Where a commercial “accepted or refunded” policy is displayed for a given procedure, it defines the applicable commercial remedy subject to these Terms.

You must accept these Terms to place an Order. If you do not accept the Terms, you may be unable to access paid features or complete purchases.

Prices are displayed before payment. Unless otherwise stated, payments are processed in EUR via third-party payment processors (for example, Stripe). Their separate terms may apply.

Your bank may charge additional fees (e.g., currency conversion). An Order is considered complete once payment is confirmed (or as indicated in the checkout flow).

Digital products are delivered via download and/or email, depending on the purchase flow. If physical delivery is offered, it is fulfilled by third-party carriers and delivery timelines may vary.

Due to the personalized nature of Products and/or the immediate start of digital processing, cancellation and withdrawal rights may be limited once processing begins, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Complaints related to the Service may be submitted by email to [email protected]. Please include your order number and the reason for the complaint.

We aim to respond within 14 days of receipt.

If a refund is granted, it will be issued using the same payment method used for the purchase.

You may submit a refund request within 14 days after purchase via your account (or by email). Requests submitted within 14 days are accepted automatically once you provide the required feedback in the refund form. After 14 days, refund requests are reviewed case-by-case.

Any goodwill compensation exceeding the product price (if applicable) may be issued via bank transfer or via another method agreed with you.

We strive to provide the Service with reasonable care but cannot guarantee continuous or secure access. The Service may be affected by factors beyond our control (including third-party providers).

You are responsible for the content you upload and for having the necessary rights to use it.

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the relevant Order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

The Service’s content (texts, trademarks, logos, and visual assets) is protected by intellectual property laws. Unauthorized reproduction is prohibited.

You retain your rights in your uploaded Photos. You grant YapaPhoto a limited, non-exclusive license strictly necessary to process your Photo, produce the Product, and fulfill your Order.

We process personal data necessary to provide the Service (account, orders, support, fraud prevention). The Service may use cookies required for basic functionality.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when published on the Service (or after a notice period where required). Purchases made before the effective date of new Terms remain governed by the version in force on the purchase date.

These Terms are governed by French law, subject to any mandatory consumer protection rules applicable in your country of residence.
